Intratek Computer, Inc. is looking for a IT Systems Analyst to support our client in Santa Ana, CA.

  • Detail-oriented to ensure that settings/entries into systems are accurate and consistent.
  • Able to assume the primary duty of creating and managing user accounts in a wide variety of systems including changing permissions and resetting passwords.
  • Strong ability to write Microsoft SQL code to do data mining tasks in order to fulfill both internal and external requests.
  • Ability to create reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.
  • Assist with system testing as needed.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with end users in English, both orally and in writing, as well as produce clearly written documentation of processes/troubleshooting steps for use by other team members.
  • Ability to learn the reporting standards required by the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reporting system and review/edit cases to ensure compliance (we will provide training for this).
  • Other duties as required, in alignment with skills and experience.


Desirable Skills/Knowledge:

  • Supporting/implementing interfaces between systems using common data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, etc. and technologies including web-services, FTP, etc.
  • Basic programming skills using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, .NET, etc.
  • Experience with Active Directory, specifically Security Groups and Distribution Lists.
  • Basic understanding of computer networking principles including equipment and protocols.


Work Environment

  • Needs to be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Open to adjust priorities as needed by the situation.
  • Needs to be able to work and focus on tasks/projects on their own for extended periods – some team members wear ear phones/ear buds to block out noisy distractions.
  • Schedule would be 5 days a week, 8 hours a day – specific hours to be determined but typically sometime between 6AM and 6PM.
  • All work would be onsite – at this time there is no intention to include a remote-work option.
  • After a few months’ time (i.e. after building knowledge and experience with our systems), willing and able to take a turn with on-call duty for typically one week a month. Any issues that come up beyond their capacity may be escalated to other team members/supervisors to assist.
  • Dress code is business casual.
